UPDATE: there is a SERVER update that can be installed that seems to allow the app to work in iOS 8. Please check into this if youve had issues since upgrading to iOS 8.
This app, while nicely conceived, can prove to be very glitchy under certain conditions. Like leaving the feed up on display for an extended time (we have an iPad mounted on the wall) can cause it to freeze up. You have to kill the app and restart -- or often do a hard reset to the iPad for it to function again.
But with the new iOS 8, its been broken for a couple of weeks now. Our local support team called in to Avigilon support and they confirmed that iOS 8 is indeed wreaking havoc on their software and a fix was imminent. Thats been a week, so hopefully well see an update in the App Store soon!
